Lister’s Management Committee is very pleased to announce that it has received funding assistance for every tenant from the Scottish Government. There is funding from the Fuel Support Fund and this is for £50 in direct assistance for fuel bills, and £100 in vouchers towards fuel bills. In addition we have got funding from the Scottish Government Community Recovery Fund, with other Archie alliance members, for a ‘Goody Bag’ of energy conservation items including a 13w LED bulb, a radiator reflective panel, a fabric ‘sausage dog’ draught excluder for behind a door, and sheets of tips and where to get welfare, money and debt advice. In addition we have a hot water cylinder jacket for every tenant.
Leaflets have gone out to all tenants to arrange to pick these items up, on a strict appointment basis. Thanks again to the Scottish Government for their support.
