The Lister History group meets once a month on the first Wednesday of the month from 6.30 – 7.30 pm at the community room at the Lister office.
The group is interested in the history of the Lister community and the neighbourhood, especially those who are or have lived at Lister or in the locality.
The group is building up a number of resources, including books, articles, photocopies and has access to a computer and the internet. They have had guest speakers, talks from researchers and even afternoon outings.
The Group is very keen to hear from those interested in local history, including from people not Lister tenants.
