The Scottish Government has funded a scheme to help get people out cycling more. They will fund up to £50 per person of repairs work to a bicycle. The scheme details are available at: cyclinguk.org/ScotCycleRepair The funding is accessed by going to a cycle repair shop which operates the scheme. There is a map on the website with all approved repair shops. Local ones include: Pure Electric, 71 Morrison Street; Evans Cycles, 1A Exchange Place; BikeTrax, 11 Lochrin Place; Soul Cycles, 1 Brougham Place. The scheme can run up to 31 March 2021, subject to each shop still offering the support.
