Transfer points review, Allocation & Transfer policies updated

ALLOCATIONS POLICY UPDATE

Lister has reviewed its allocation policy to incorporate two main sources of change, as follows:

(a) We joined the EdIndex Key-to-Choice choice-based bidding system on EdIndex in 2018; and

(b) The various changes arising from the implementation in stages by the Scottish Government of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014.

The Lister Management Committee approved the revised allocations policy on 29 Jan 2019 for consultation. The policy was confirmed in February 2019 following consultation.

TRANSFER POLICY UPDATE

The Lister Transfer policy has been updated to include a comment that Lister now uses the choice-based bidding system for all allocations except those involving a transfer, which we will continue to administer from the Lister office using Lister Transfer forms submitted by our tenants.

TRANSFER POINTS AND GUIDANCE REVIEW

The Management Committee reviewed in March/April 2019 the transfer points system and associated guidance. The revised points scheme is available to download here – Transfer points May 2019

Lister staff can also give general advice and assistance to Lister tenants about transfers – please just ask.
